I am a licensed independent clinical social worker (LICSW) in the state of Washington. I earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine and a Master's degree in Social Work from Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts. I completed post-graduate training in couple and family therapy at the Ackerman Institute for the Family in New York City. I also have a Certificate in British Object Relations Psychotherapy (a type of psychoanalytic therapy) from the COR Northwest Family Development Center in Seattle, Washington.
I have provided mental health services to children, adults, couples and families across many settings. My work with adolescents began in a residential treatment facility for teens experiencing mental health crises. Subsequently, I have provided psychotherapy in school settings, in the community, and on an outpatient basis. I have also worked as a clinical supervisor to social workers, mental health counselors, marriage and family therapists and interns in those fields. My supervisory work has focused heavily on child and family therapy.
